What do they do next though ?

They've been hiring and firing managers for years without any success

The closest they came was with Poch and they still hounded him out.

Spurs right now are a bang average midtable club, but the expectation from fans is that they should be up there challenging the big clubs

That is just fantasy right now.

They need to accept that they are on a par with the likes of Brighton, Sunderland and Bournemouth.
They have a big stadium so at least that brings some money in and prestige compared to Sunderland and Bournemouth.

Those two probably better teams atm!

Difficult to know where they will go.

Go and get Poch back after the World Cup maybe.

They are a bigger club than Bournemouth.

And they have a bigger stadium than Sunderland, and a bigger following.

But you're right, both of those clubs are better than Spurs right now

Would Poch really want to go back there ? I know he's said he wants to come back to the prem, but I would have thought he'd be looking at either the Man Utd or City job.

Not sure his stock is that high any more.

Think he'd take it personally.

Would love to see them battling it out in the Championship - it is a seriously tough league.

Think West Ham are done though.

It would be hilarious to see Spurs relegated. Like you say, it's a tough league with a lot of games and some horrible tricky banana skins to negotiate away from home.

Wolves and Burnley are toast

West Ham look favourites to join them at the moment, but they can sometimes string a few decent results together.

I think Forest aren't out of the woods yet (see what I did there....) and Leeds might get sucked back into that battle.

It would only take another few bad results for Spurs to be in that mix with them all too
