He’s been in the job for not even half a season. Give him a chance and a few transfers window before writing him off.

I’m not sure any Spurs player can be considered key these days.
You need to give him at least a couple of years to start to sort your **** show out
But I doubt he'll be given that time by the fans.
6 of them make the starting line up when fit. Key or not they improve the team
2 years and then see where things are. Needs to get rid of players he doesn’t want and be given players he wants.
Yep it takes time, but footie fans are notorious for wanting instant results.

I’m not even massively convinced by him but I’m so bored of seeing manager after manager be sacked. At some point they have to back the man they appointed.
Can't see you sacking him that quickly and it would be a travesty if you did.
I think he's a decent manager, nothing amazing, but he could probably get you European football consistently if you give him time.
Agree - his work at Brentford speaks for itself ...
Although we've been hugely disappointing, I'm hoping we don't knee-jerk with Cifuentes and at least give him the January transfer window both to ship out and bring in his own players ...
At a time when I was still regularly going to games, we brought in Martin O'Neil and his start was ****ing awful ... but, if I recall correctly, his first major signing was Neil Lennon (saw his debut away at Reading), followed by Muzzy Izzet on loan from Chelsea (became permanent) and a kid called Emile Heskey was prompted from the youth team ...
Problem these days is impatience... both from fans and owners...
