Now I've seen it, it's a red. Although can see why VAR saw it and the ref didn't. I'd have probably never have given the red though, took me a while to focus what was going on.

NI were dreadful but the ref was a massive homer right up until sending Ballard off for very little at the end.

I didn't see what Ballard did, was making a cuppa lol. But it all seemed a bit late and a bit tame for a sending off. Trouble is I suppose if he did nothing then the Slovaks would use it as a time wasting exercise, which they did anyway.
