Is that all they pay a year in rent for that massive stadium? £2.5m?! Thats a ****ing steal!!
As they dont own it, they wouldnt be liable for upkeep either, at least not all of it, so they probably save a ****load of money.
Property tax alone on a stadium that big has to be six figures! And West Ham arent the only ones who rent it, so at the very least their council tax bill would be split.....
The only good thing with this is, blokes love their Boxing Day football, a day out with the lads, so hopefully a good few of the PL fans will find a lower league game to go and watch and put some much needed coffers into those clubs.
