Match day 3/47 in the definitely not the Super League. Arsenal v Atletico Madrid might be good but with the caveat there’s no jeopardy at all so won’t be.

They’re a weird team. Thin squad so playing them midweek is probably good and they’ve been poor at home. It’s quite pleasant and family friendly around the ground these days and the cricket club nearby is the best place for a drink before.

Been a couple of times before, was my first ever away game years back before they rebuilt the away stand.

Yeah I've seen they've been poor at home but we've not won a league game there since the 70s so a draw best I'm hoping for really.

Going to Blackburn Saturday though and that's a must win.

It would need to be a big game to make me go back to that dump. Even relative to most grim Northern towns it’s dire.

Some good games in the championship tonight, 4 of the bottom 5 playing one another,in form Hull looking to go above Leicester with a win, not much in it with the other games, as Wall and Pompey at home, Preston should be too strong for Brum at home. Yet to fire Ipswich v a doing well Charlton. Could be a couple of Desmond's in there.
Libby as already told us Soton are on for the draw, one of the Desmond's?

That does feel quite Desmondy. Might take my evening walk via Betfred and pick another couple at random.

I might have a flutter tonight. I tend to do better on horses than football. Won £60 on the 4.40 in Perth just now.
Every time I do football, I do an acca and there is always one result that ****s me over!
