Three play-off finals in a row before we won one ... Blackburn, Swindon and Direby ... was there for them all - Wembley had always been a bit of a jinx.. 4 losing post war FA Cup finals and lost the first 2 playoffs ... so lucky 7 it was ... and we were lucky ... Brian Little's team of bargain basement centre halves beat a Derby team assembled at comparative Liverpool 'success buying' levels ...

Most memorable from a family perspective was the Blackburn game - 3 female cousins travelled down from Accrington to support Rovers ... 5 of us male cousins from Leicester - amazing day both before, during, and after the game ... last train home... sorrows drowned.

Sickener to lose on pens but already impressed with how Frank’s able to tactically switch things up. Already added a threat from Danso’s throw-ins that we never utilised last season.

Kudus and Palhinha already look smart signings too, we’ve needed some Prem proven players for a year or two now and they look like they could prove top additions.
