Gazza has collapsed and been rushed into intensive care. I like that guy, it’s a shame but he’s never been able to shake off his issues and he’s always been surrounded by the wrong people.

I work with a lad who grew up (not with but alongside him) who got into an argument with him when they were about 16, Gazza threatened to batter him so he backed down.Scored that sick free kick in 91 against the Goonz to get us to the final then emotion got the better of him and he chopped that Forest player Charles’s legs off and got himself a major injury in the first half of the final
Just ****ed in the head
emotional decision making
cognitive dissonance all ****ed up
hope he recovers
Arsenal getting away lightly with this, me thinks.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta says he is "100%" sure the club followed the right processes when dealing with former midfielder Thomas Partey, who was under police investigation for multiple counts of rape while he was playing for the club.
The Ghana midfielder, 32, left Arsenal at the end of his contract on 30 June and four days later was charged with five counts of rape and one count of sexual assault.
The offences are reported to have taken place in 2021 and 2022, the Metropolitan Police said in a statement on 4 July.
The charges involve three women, with two counts of rape relating to one woman, three counts of rape in connection to a second woman and one count of sexual assault linked to a third woman.
Sadly our club done the same with previous owners. Johnson should have been suspended and put on leave from day one once the club were made aware of the charges. It was shameful and it’s the same for Arsenal. They carried on playing with a player they knew had all these rape allegations against him because it benefitted the club to do so.Everton stopped a player accused of something from playing, his contract ran down, an asset lost.
Arsenal did what they wanted and the player got to carry on in the public eye.
18 VAR errors last season. Not where people feel hard done by or they thought VAR had got it wrong. This is the list of actual recognised errors after reviewing them all.

Can you imagine the furore if Arsenal had actually won something with him playing?

Loads of jobs you can't do in this country if you have a criminal record and want to work with the elderly or young, or anything that engages with that likely happening (Enhanced DBS). Football should be no different, if a player is accused of such serious offences they should get suspended immediately. I don't know if Partey was still playing, training or not but if he was he shouldn't of been, and for me it would demonstrate the double standards in football if he did, especially when it's a sport that works so closely with charities, hospitals, schools and is also trying to improve the image of the game around misogyny. Sorry gone on a bit.
I don’t think a player should be banned just for being accused. Players get accused of all sorts all the time- remember the Lesta non-scandal from a pre-season trip to Spain?
Nah **** it, it’s Arsenal…should of dropped him plus 2 other midfielders just because!!I don’t think a player should be banned just for being accused. Players get accused of all sorts all the time- remember the Lesta non-scandal from a pre-season trip to Spain?
