He was only here for a season when he was young but he looked a classy player. We loaned him with an option to purchase and then signed him for around £6m. From the sounds if it he just got homesick - he was just 19/20 at the time and had just spent a year in Germany where he also struggled socially and it's pretty understandable he wanted to go back to Spain. I'm surprised it doesn't happen more tbh, moving to another country away from your family where you don't speak the language etc. The weather probably didn't help either!
Think we made a small profit on him at least.
