It obviously isn't prestigious at all, but it is classed as a trophy. Hence for all players/managers/clubs it's included in their list of honours.
The Emirates Cup is a trophy. Neither are a major honour.
Since when do they play the FA Cup Final in August?
Us Newcastle fans have been keeping our heads down for so long in the 'When did you last win a trophy?' arguments that we are making elementary mistakes in our new found desire to get involved.
My point is the Community Shield is classed as an Honour, the Emirates Cup isn't. Regardless of how major is it or isn't, it's classed as an honour, the Emirates Cup isn't. But you knew that already.

The charity shield? Maybe if we win it we can have another parade.
Not really, as ground renovations aren't part of PSR. According to the article they set aside 1.75billion quid for ground improvements and moving to Twickenham while they do those would mean they could improve income as its bigger and then increase capacity and hospitality income at Stamford Bridge.Chelsea moving to Twickenham and unlocking £1.75billion fund? ... pulling another moonie at PSR / FFP ...

Just done a job where they had the whole house gutted next door, causing several large cracks through the house and stuff.Excited for Chelsea’s plans to be scuppered again by a local resident who will have a shadow on one square inch of the garden of their £4m house.
