If it makes anyone feel any better I got Toonboy and his old man to meet me and a few of the lads off the toon forum in a strip bar. Toonboy slavered out his coca cola and his dad disappeared for a long period of time
I bought everyone a drink and it came to about 25 quid ffs.
Hung is Tea total and didn't want one n all and the other soft bastards wouldn't neck their shots 
Try £38 today and their was only me, chippy, Trev and Hung out.
Found this the few times I've been up that drinks were pretty expensive.

Canny Lad is £2.10 a pint mon - fri till 6pm. seemed way way way pricier at weekends though
