I think people look to discredit other clubs when they win something upto and including bad seasons for everyone else and celebrating winning trophies.

Hardly a new thing. There's a list of reasons people use to attempt to discredit the successes of other teams:
money spent
wage bill
where the money comes from
quality of opposition
other teams form
anti-football tactics
blah blah blah
That's because most football fans are, and you can write this down, massive hypocritical babies.
The key bit is to not care about negative views of other fans. Any other stance is madness.
