So it's not always been the way of the world that the clubs spending the most win the most? ... KDEN

Ha ha, of course not.

You never heard the phrase 'you win nothing with kids'?

Never heard of things like the Busby Babes?

This is piss easy mate, now toodle off and look it all up because no, the team that 'spends most' doesn't always win.

There are plenty of times when clubs have out spent the best squad out there and failed.

We are currently one of them, but that doesn’t mean that previously we've had successful squads and been out spent by others, loads of times.

But do feel free to continue crying that clubs have won more than you because it's all down money and it not being fair, but nothing to do with your club just being largely ****e.

Great, so if everyone else can spend you can just keep growing your success organically then.

Well, funnily enough, so have we.

We can also offer genuine prestige and don't exsist in an North East one club bubble that no one bar those living there gives a **** about.

I assume that this goal of PSR being deemed 'illegal' applies to everyone now, not just City and Chelsea, so we'd also be able to spend without restriction.
You’d need Old Scrotum Face and the Glazers to fund a spends race with us though, so good luck with that…

The 5 to 10 year plan? yeah not bad

We've gone from 19th to 6th in 3 years, made a second cup final, have the possibly the best striker in the world, we're challenging for champions league a second time, about to release plans for a 1.2 billion stadium project a 200 million training facility, and now have the 7th biggest revenue in the country.

It's been a good start I'd say.

Actually on revenue you do have to wonder why the Saudis haven't sponsored the stadium, training ground and training kits at all in the last 3 years <confused>
Almost like they’ve been waiting for… erm, some kind of judgement or ruling or something.

Indeed, backdated larger amounts is a possibility on any inflated requests sent to the PL, which were subsequently rejected.

If they did of course, but it seems the obvious reason behind the very questioned lack of sponsorship deals since they bought the club.

Everything for a reason.

The problem is they wanted to go down this SCR/wages route, but percentage based. It would simply allow the likes of Manchester to continue spending more than other clubs even though they have less money than them.

They don't want a competition they want to guarantee their continued status and don't want any other club being able to do the same things they did to grow the business.

If they were a boxer they'd be insisting their opponent not being allowed access to a training camp and a restriction on food and water. Go champ.

They look like they have no faith in the manager, and no fight… basically reverting to the bunch of mismatched youngsters that they looked like early Poch.

Not impressed by that Maresca at all really. Know he won the league with Leicester last season but the squad he had they should have ran away with it much more than they did.

It’s class that they’ve spent the GDP of a dodgy Central American dictatorship to not have a goalkeeper or striker.
It’s quite incredible really. Hugely entertaining when even after all their bizarre spending and PSR wrangles and obscene splurging, they still have massive holes in the squad…

It could be said that I’m trying to force a rivalry by laughing at their mismanagement and misfortune, but it’s just funny.

Manager won’t last. They’ll get it right one day and still be allowed to to get away with murder along the way.

Must wake up every day wondering how the **** he’s there. Will get the boot and land a job with a big club off the back of this (Roma or something) before fading away. He’s won the lottery.

Fully agree… he’s not good enough and a lot of Leicester fans said as much when he went there. No plan B, no real dynamic in game management… he looked utterly lost last night and the players at the final whistle just looked like they’d switched off.

Great to watch.

Weird thing is second half of last season they had started to actually look like a Poch team and he'd seemed to have turned it around. Was mental to bin him for this bloke really.

Funny though.

Looks like Cucurella had a mare which is probably a good indicator. Bloke downs tools more than Sucky.
