L2 use to be good back in my day, because you could get top tier players, simple reason back then the squads were small and you could only have one on the bench I think, so there was no point in hoarding talent. We had one Chelsea player who couldn't get in the squad because of the likes of Osgood and Co. Where as today they just leave them to rot on the bench and swoop up all the talent. Fond memories of a 0-0 at Gillingham (dismal game) towards the end of the season with both teams near the top. Hundreds of people outside a pub singing while a woman was tended to by paramedics after being hit by a motorbike.

We had to agree on allowing the B teams into the EFL Trophy, to stop them getting in the league...and they are still trying, they don't talk about it, but they are trying, the evidence is there in the National League and the way one of the lower league trophies has been adapted. So how long before the B teams are allowed into the NL, which is then a route to the pyramid....now did someone mention the three up and three down, sorry I'm being cynical now.
