To me all clubs are there to be shot at, and Man United are no different. It's just funny and they give it themselves.
Man United will say they've got bigger fish to fry based on the past, and that Newcastle are irrelevant, but they've been singing sad geordie bastard for 30 years at times when we aren't even playing them. Now the boots on the other foot somewhat and they find it a bit weird.? Get used to it lads.
If those flat track bullies think we're going to listen to their ****, and not even give them digs back when the boots on the other foot they are mistaken.
That applies to every club.

ended up in some ****hole pub going there, it's was big enough and full of away supporters, but just remember my feet sticking to the floor. Wasn't the best of away days. Coach had some trouble round there as well, because of dickheads cars blocking access.
Kelman ****ed off when Steve Evans did, so I'm guessing Evans brought him in.
Thing is the North West of England dominates football in the country, so they’ll never be concerned about any other teams when they’re always challenging each other to clean up on the trophies. City, Utd, Liverpool. They’ve got enough to worry about with each other to care about any other clubs trying to cause a rivalry with them.
We all know Man Utd will be back to the top at some point.
In reality, United have done nothing different to what Liverpool did before them ... and what City have done for the last decade ... dominate the game.
Fans of other teams are a bit jealous... not just of the success, but for the spending power each has had to maintain / sustain that dominance during their pomp.
That alone would be enough to gender some animosity / dislike... but when you factor in the vast number of plastics that have latched on to the 'success' of the first two (and Citeh are now attracting their share) it ratchets up the dislike and disdain of fans of other clubs whose own allegiance is down to geography of birth or family ties / history, rather than simply attaching themselves to the 'success' of the dominant club as they are growing up...
An example of this 'behaviour' to a lesser extent (prior to Liverpool and United's dominance) from the 70s - I started going to away games with my mates and you'd just go down to Humberstone Gate in the City centre and climb on one of the coaches that had been chartered (not the official supporters club ones - they went from the ground) - at the same time there would be a coach to Leeds United games - all lads from Leicestershire who had allied themselves to Don Revie's then dominant team rather than support their local club - absolute ****ers ... will always happen.
They are one of the most successful clubs anywhere in the world and you've got to respect it, but also its important to respect yourself.
I don't hate them, I don't really hate any club because we've all got great lads and lasses amongst the fanbases.
Some effort that. Pretty **** it'll go down as an own goal really.
Got to admit I was very impressed with that Leeds side under Revie, something that lives with you in memory, much like Liverpool of the 70's. I'm guessing it's memories from anything that happens upto and until your brain is fully developed at around 25 years of age.
