Yeah he had acromegaly.

He could have had it treated, he was diagnosed with it in Japan and they offered to conduct surgery on the gland that produces growth hormone. He didn't want it incase it impacted his career (he wouldnt have actually shrank but he wasnt an educated man)

Cos of his age eventually you cant keep growing taller and just grow heavier n heavier. your organs cant keep up.

Big Show has the exact same thing actually but he had surgery when younger.

It’s a show of strength. Ten Haag or the one before did similar with Ronaldo. A tactic as old as time. The bloke clearly has a lot about him and a squad not right for him so will need time but they look a lot more solid.

I thought Hojlund would come good and he’s young but doesn’t really look up to it to me yet. Zirkzee is the rich man’s John Hartson being kind. Thought Rashford might come back to life as a striker but there’s clearly a bit of an issue there either with his work rate or Amorim has just decided he doesn’t fancy him. He had Gyokeres who was an absolute battering ram and will probably go for him in the summer.

Was startling watching Hojlund give his impression of a human trampoline last night. He's just not progressed.

Said when we signed him, lad of his age still learning can not be expected to lead the line and score all the goals in that team. We should have also signed up Toney.

Then he had to deal with Rashford and Garnacho never passing and spraying wild shots around the place.

Now they do pass, he just can't get going, he's got zero touch or control.

I hope he matures, but we 100% still need a finished article striker.

Zirkzee is no centre forward. He night be OK in the front three, but even then he's a yard too slow.

Agree - Toney would have been an excellent signing...

... although on the age thing, Haaland was only about 20 when he signed for Dortmund ... but then again, he is rather a phenomenon...
