In that bar that comes up when you click on the little picture icon, you should be able to paste the link from the gif you want to post?

Yes that's what comes up, I have no paste option, tried copy link address and copy image, exactly the same with both

From Giphy, it should let you copy the gif link which you should be able to paste into the bar on here. Have you tried just copying the link from the website address ?

If that doesn't work, I dunno

You'll have to get @brb onto it once he's fixed the tags

That's all I do is just copy image and paste.

I wonder if it's to do with individual settings. If you scroll to the bottom of this page (before quoting) mine is set to Horse Racing. It's just above the 'About Us' and 18+ symbol.
 
I've tried looking at Gessa's settings, but it says he can upload attachments, so I don't know what's going on.

I think uploading attachments is different from copying and pasting images though right ?

Copying a link for an image is done in the little image window at the top (in between the emoji and media link icon) and uploading an image from a phone or computer is done using the 'upload file' button at the bottom next to 'post reply' and 'more options' ?

I'm seeing those as two different things. One for web links and one for personal files.
