Not sure who this guy is and I’ve not played footy competitively for many a year but I’d put my boots on and go break a leg for him tomorrow. What a great opening speech. Plymouth will be fine.

We’ve got them there on Saturday. They’re playing Oxford at home now so he couldn’t ask for a better start.

Saw a probably unreliable report you’ve bid for Tom Cannon on loan with a £13m fee at the end. Going for it with the French bloke too.

Surely that 13m isn’t true.

He isn’t even that good and we already have better. Underwhelming.

Yeah we are making loan deals with big fees if we are promoted. Otherwise they’ll just go back to their clubs at the end of the season.

It does seem like they’re going all out for promotion now. I didn’t see it coming but nice that we are finally looking to spend the Jack Clarke and Ross Stewart money.

Oh and what’s happening with the Welsh clubs is a ****ing shambles. They should all be chucked out the league. Such an unfair advantage they’re going to have over the English clubs now.

Worth a gamble in this position. None of the other three up there are that great. Can always sell Bellingham and balance the books and Lesta have shown the PSR rules can’t touch you if you go up.

We are well in credit with player sales. Don’t think we are under any threat with PSR. We’ve got to where we are on loan signings and paying minimal fees. We’ve barely spent a penny and these loans will go into next years accounts if they become permanent.

Yeah, he is **** so I wouldn’t fall for your lads paying £13m for him.

maybe £4-5m max.

Sunderland 16/1 to win the league?

Crazy price. We beat Burnley on Friday and that price collapses.

Was listening to a guy talking about it on the way home. I don’t think it’s a huge deal. So Cardiff/Swansea have a crack at the first stage of the Conference League every year. No real money in it and it’ll hurt their league chances. They’ve given up the chance to represent England in the unlikely event they qualify for anything through the cups.

Good for the fans but can’t see it massively benefitting the clubs tbh. They shouldn’t have fixtures moved inconveniencing other clubs/fans to accommodate their Welsh cup games and short-lived euro jaunts though. Let them work it out.

Stoke fans barely rate him. I was reading their forum before. Can’t pass, no pace, no strength, misses way too many chances.

Seems a case of them wanting to have their cake and eat it to me. Want the financial advantages of being in the English leagues but also want to take advantage of their dominance in Wales to get easy routes to Europe.

Should be one or the other for me.

The bloke said they’ve agreed to not profit from any European run, however that could be worked out. Other than the glamour of maybe making it to the group stage I don’t think it’s much of a draw for players and they’ll have plenty of travelling to get that far. Kick them out the FA Cup in return maybe. Dunno.
