It seemed like the whole of our midfield all fell off a cliff together at the same time a couple of years back. It was apparent in that first game away at Fulham - the whole team looked utterly turgid. In fairness, City have waited until the middle of winter, but it looks the same malaise. But hey-ho, they've just announced record profits (somehow, bigger worldwide sales than the prem Big 3 of United, Liverpool, and Arsenal) so expect a mass splurging in January.
