If Pep had gone to Liverpool instead of City and won them all these trophies, would you have supported Everton instead, just out of principle, that it's not about winning silverware at any price. <whistle>

Watching the John McEnroe documentary again and there's a line from Billie Jean King about the "artist" that is the sportsman "you may not like him, but he makes you feel" so lacking in modem sport.

Just checked and yep still won 2 out of 25 argument's.

Verdict

City still sent begging letters out to rival clubs asking them to gang up on the naughty prem and it's naughty rules .

So yeh prem won still

I'm going to regret getting involved as I'm not overly bothered but I'm not sure you can use the number of arguments won and lost as a measure here really. It depends on which particular arguments were won and lost and what they mean. If I'm charged with 25 counts of murder and successfully defend 23 of them I'm still in quite a lot of trouble. Man City were trying to poke holes in the legal framework and did manage to do so, how bad is that? Who knows to be honest. Not me and not 100% of the people I've seen commenting on it - no offence meant.

I really can't wait for club football to start again.
