Sunderland v Leeds. A proper Division One fixture before it went all woke and 4-2-3-1 and inverted wingers. The Michael Bridges derby. Real ale and a battering for the wife. We used to be a country.

Agree he couldn't have done much better bar the forest result, said all the right things at the right times so far and it's clear the squad are familiar enough with his style in comparison to klopps hence the results not being too different up to now I guess

And they seem to be enjoying the small tweaks that's he hasn't implemented. Even though he's more a coach than klopp has ever been such as involved in the training drills and that, Jürgen delegated those things more.

Some not606 experts have suggested he's done nothing but play then same team and have them play the same way. That's just Butthurt rubbish.

Our owners should take credit for finding someone who could come in and make it seem seamless and kudos to them for that. We built a clear style of play and found our identity again under klopp it would've been dumb af to get someone in who played completely different imo, he's never gonna be the character klopp was but no one could be in fairness.

Some teams owners could take a leaf instead of buying flashy names and dumping managers with completely different styles on said flashy names every 2 years in the hope of finding Thier identity again but what do I know I've never attended a football match in my life not once ever<laugh>

Challenging for the title was the goal this year, we fell just short at the tail end last time and most of the new lads brought in for klopp2.0 are comfortable and thriving. gravenberch especially so another plus.

Look what Paisley did after shanks, I hope this man can do the same

Lol

I'm just pleased it's an experienced player that it's happened to, that would destroy a new kid.

Mate they've persevered with him now for 3 seasons longer than they should have, he costs us countless goals every season and it's not as though he pulls off great saves to counter it.

are we sure it was a mistake... <whistle>

Meslier 2 minutes after his mistake...
