Hopefully they think Bruno Guimaraes is the player he was a couple of seasons ago and chuck some money at us. Guy has been off the boil for 12 months so probably not but i suspect in a better team he'd be excellent again and it seems we could use the money.
 
Wimbledon v Newcastle switched to St James’ Park at a week’s notice. Travelling geordies have done their giro and that’s an expensive trip for the now away fans. Would’ve thought Charlton or someone could have hosted as a one-off.

Sure our owners could be approched if Wimbledon really are that desperate for the rest of the season, Ebbsfleet as well. Seems bonkers going all that way up North, maybe they like the idea of an away day that don't come round that often.

Makes sense for the cup tie. Crap for the fans but good earner for the club. They’ll have to groundshare and maybe switch some home games for a bit. Plenty of options in theory not too far away. Could even share them across a few clubs in a sort of London tour.

Yeah, being Wimbledon most fans will be wanting their club to help them, doubt they will be short of offers.

wonder what will happen to the Newcastle fans who will have already paid for train/hotels etc…..

In a nice world they’d be reimbursed from the gate receipts. In the real world they’ll be told to get ****ed and probably start knocking out horses.
