Did anyone of you go to Elm Park in Reading (my hometown). Reading were there until around 1998 I think. Much better atmosphere than the sterile Mad Stad

particularly when Poprtsmouth visited .

It was but the York one was the similar sounding Bootham Crescent. I stayed in a B&B on the road 20 odd years ago and when I booked it had the feeling the name was familiar to me. The lady wasn't as enamoured when it was manic around the street on what was an otherwise lovely sunny stroll into York (nice city) on our first ever trip away.
