A rare slip Ponks and now corrected as I'm a bit of a grammar Nazi myself ... but the point stands - if Maddison stays fit - they've a better squad than the ones he played in when we finished fifth, and they are way more fluid now than in the days of slo-mo Harry - and they look much better defensively and in terms of overall squad depth![]()
It's actually the second time I've picked up on that grammatical abhorration Fosse, but I'm encouraged to see that you've now addressed it.
Not sure the comparison stands regarding Maddison playing in a better team that your one that finished 5th, ergo Spurs will finish 4th or higher. The thing with Spurs, is that they can be good on their day, but they can also look like utter **** for large parts of the season. They also don't recover well after a bad result and it can take them 3, 4 or 5 games to get back to their feet. I also think Fat Ange is pretty one dimensional, and if teams get their tactics right Spurs don't seem to have a plan B
They've not really been tested yet this season having played two of the weaker teams in the PL.

... I know you're slow, but have a look at the early morning posts on this thread (again) ... the punctuation debate was not started by me ... good lad....
