Bringing that everton flavour to the English side<laugh>

You don't have t worry about that mate, English players are men not little boys who need a big man hug to make them feel good.
Bunch of grown men crying thier eyes out again last night after losing another final.

Kden <laugh>

You know what. I was having a convo today about who should take over and his name was discussed.

Personally I think he'd be brilliant for England.

I'd go all-in for Ancelloti.

Hugely experienced, knows the PL/English football and is an expert in managing tournament football, which as others have mentioned does require a different approach to the 38-game marathons.

I look at the current crop of players and think they'd flourish under someone like Ancelloti.

Probably won't leave Madrid for at least another year but I'd sooner wait for someone of his calibre than rush into hiring someone like Graham Potter just because he was born in Solihull.

Emery probably Plan B.

Wouldn't say no to Klopp.

No one else really interests me.

and everyone wants him out of a job, but no one yet has agreed on his replacement <laugh>

Sack that guy, but we aint got a clue who replaces him, L2 level that.

Oh no of course Klopp, well at least we know Trent will get played [HASHTAG]#Sucky[/HASHTAG]

One of the biggest footballing injustices was that Brian Clough never got the England job ... just the type of character (and visionary) we need now ...

I'm pretty sure Southgate is more qualified than you will ever be, even if you applied for the job, they would just laugh, at least you could tell them all about the Leicester City Academy, and tell them how you won the Prem...when I say, how you won, I mean as a supporter over the internet <laugh>

I even saw people slagging him off on here for his facial features, Bod I think it was, the mentality of England supporters, then you kunts wonder why players don't want to play when it comes to the crunch, because they know the dogs abuse they are going to get if they fail.

Beer cups thrown at the manager, yet he got us to the Final, then we wonder why people kick off in pubs, it's a sad mentality inbred in this country of absolute tossers that never ever get behind the team, just constantly criticising it.

But at least he lost the final to prove all of you right, fine margins eh.

To be fair to Fosse. Lane hasn’t looked the same player since his loan at Leicester….all downhill for him.

Don't disagree but a) none of those managers would come and b) when we get to the final and lose 2-1 to the best team in the tournament everyone will hail Ancelotti for getting a bunch of tired and misfiring players so close.

I'm pretty concerned that the best manager who I think would say yes is Eddie Howe. He's a very FA appointment.

Eddie Howe would be such a vanilla appointment.

Boring middle of the road and wouldn't get any more out of these players than Southgate.

I know folk scoff at Klopp taking the job, but why not. It's a part time job essentially and he would be the sort of personality that would inspire this squad.

I don't think Klopp would take it. I also don't think it's the right fit, personally. Say what we will about Southgate, but that long term consistency in the managerial position is key to us getting a tournament over the line, especially with all the young players coming through.

It's a 6-8 year post. Klopp's not going to buy into that - I don't think many foreign coaches would. It'll end up being Carsley or Eddie Howe, IMO.

Klopp could take a short term view, 2 years to WC and when he doesn’t win/if he doesn’t win….well it’s just England and then he will be refreshed for a club job

597 years of hurt incoming

I'm not questioning his career or his qualifications ... but I am certainly questioning his judgement on player selection and tactics at this tournament - as I did consistently from the first game onwards - ... and as anyone who is a fan of the game has a right to ... it's also a plain fact that anybody of my age, or near it, was watching football whilst Garuff was still in nappies, so it's not like we've just read up on a subject in preparation for an exam ...
TBF, you began before the tournament having a spat with others on here over Kane.
I got the impression that in some ways you wanted England to fail because it justified your comments on Kane.
