It was more the commentators fawning over his brat behaviour that annoyed me when they should have been laughing at him. Why does it bother you if it bothers me?

I can’t recall the last time I saw a footballer burst into tears for missing a penalty mid-game after spending 110 minutes trying to take the glory to the detriment of his team.
I think it's a state of his mental health and that isn't something I would say loosley. Time stands still for no man.
He's lost his pace and that wonderful ability to leap and hang in the air for headers. Shadow of his former self, just playing for ego now.
