What I noticed, perhaps unfairly, was that after they'd actually won, every time the camera switched to him, it appeared, he was still shaking his head ruefully and glancing skywards as if to question why the Almighty had denied him...

His ego is enormous... yet it could be argued that, without those excesses of ambition, belief and self-interest, he might not have become the footballing phenomenon he undoubtedly is ...

Do you usually make up stuff to make your point? I was comparing the stick both of Spurs top scorers received not the way they played. They shared the ability to be in the right place to snap up chances and that's what I spoke about. Gilzean & Greaves formed a partnership known as the G Men because like ALL strikers some sort of access to the ball (or service) is needed.
 
TBH I've only ever seen him actually cry, rather than look about to, when he's been playing for Portugal and 'let them down'.

Just seen the result from last night. Portugal won and Ronaldo bursts into tears because he missed a penalty. That says everything about the man. Dirty rapist bastard.

He cried after Juventus lost out on the Champions League, but you know I have no idea what his mindset was.

I've let down my teammates? he didn't seem to want to look anyone of them in the eyes.
 
Ronaldo’s tears when he messes up come from the same place that drives him on to be one of the modern day greats in the game
