I don’t back favourites <whistle>

Seriously tho no. I’d never back England or Sunderland (I know, I know) in a tournament because I believe my money jinxes us.

I truly believed we could win it, though. I’m still not writing us off, tbh. One good performance and we’ll all have a totally different outlook on it.

I'm with you on that ... hence I didn't make any money in 2015/16 ... I know there are a few that will just for the craic ...

Funnily enough, when Diana was pregnant with William, I did place a £1 bet on the baby being named 'Bluey' at 10,000/1 ... just appealed to my warped sense of humour at the time - it's still warped ... but a bit different - and way more cynical <laugh>

Decided to lay England to make the semis so it’s kind of a win either way. Not big stakes but it’s drifted slightly despite the likelihood of winning the group.

Do we know who we’re most likely to get if we do win it? Couldn’t work it out from the wall chart thing online. Austria?

Assuming we win the group, we’ll play on Sunday 5pm kick off against the 3rd place team from group D/E or F. It’s undecided and not sure how they work out which group we’ll end up playing.

Yeah it’s not very clear. I assume they match up the highest performing top team with the worst third team in that half of the draw. Best case scenario is the third team in Belgium’s group unless it’s Belgium or the Czechs. The sort of teams Garuff can find a way to beat 1-0.

The thought of Trippier facing the Spanish, French, German or Belgian (to name the obvious ones - there are more) wide players should be sufficient to give every England fan the pre-match squits ... we'll be fine mind - the non-match fit Luke Shaw will be available by then <yikes>

... if only we had Kalvin Phillips too <laugh>

Ah the old use of a still which proves nothing <laugh>

If you actually watch it, he only grabbed the shirt on the way down after the defender took out his leg. Even your still shows that.

The vast majority in the game say it's a stonewall pen, there's no need to go all Prometheus on this Ern.
