We've gone through that very thing though, we've lost Carrick, Berbatov, Modric, Bale, Walker and even recently Kane all to bigger clubs, that's just the footballing food chain. Real Madrid are probably the only club on the planet that will never lose a key player unless they actually want to sell.

Where we've done much better to most others though is we've invested in infrastructure, that alone is arguably the biggest key in becoming more financially dominant. Levy's got his critics, especially from footballing aspects as he's ****ing braindead on that but from a business perspective I'd argue he's one of the best in the game.

I don't consider Spurs a bigger club than the likes of Villa, Everton, Toon and some others but where we've massively excelled over the best part of two decades in comparison to those is we've had a sound strategy to being sustainable and competitive. In a simialr time frame, two of those have suffered relegations and another has wasted **** tons of money on poor players.

Bit late to the party but the more i read about spurs and their 50 year loan to make money that isnt football related (like hosting american football, concerts etc) i feel like its cheating. You didnt have the cash then and you dont have the cash now. Its all on a credit card

Whats to stop pfi lending a load of cheap debt to newcastle who then hire all the best traders in the world to make a load of money on the stock market or buying half of london to be landlords and then thats down as newcastle profits to spend on their football arm.

I bet he goes to an expensive salon to style that.

I watched him via his channel losing his hair and enjoyed knowing he was struggling with it. The 1st sign was him adopting very strange hair cuts and styles that attempted to mask his ever worsening baldness and then eventually came a hat that has quite simply never since removed.

He literally hung hope on hair upon hair until eventually he was broken into acceptance.

Every club’s likely gonna need to take out a loan when building or expanding a stadium though, I highly doubt any club has £500m-£1bn sitting around in order to invest in such. No club would ever realistically be able to expand and/ or grow otherwise.

That credit card however hasn’t - and essentially can’t - be used to just go on a huge spending spree on players and wages for an immediate improvement, just like owners can no longer pump such into that stream either.

Our owners will just pay for ours... we have zero debt.. hope that continues... we get a laser show for free tonight.. do you guys have to pay for the karting ?

That's utterly mental mate. You still living down the west country?

Yeah, I’ve been getting to about 7-8 games a season. The rest I sell to my mate’s dad so luckily recoup a fair amount.

Half tempted to invest in an Exeter ST within the next few years, especially if Spurs up the prices much more.

Yeah, so if newcastle take a pfi credit card to buy a new stadium that happens to include 1000 offices then that's fine as long as the credit card doesnt pay for players (but the rental income profit can) then thats okay?
