The VAR room has always been run by an official and to say you don't know that is disingenous. Forest even named their VAR offical as Attwell. SKY often name the VAR official as well. Aka video assistant referee.
Do I call it cheating, yes I do, the rules were not applied fairly in my opinion, in both games I've mentioned, and I think most football fans knew how Coventry's fourth goal would roll. Cheats plain and simple and that's why clubs like Manchester United will never do anything to end this VAR nonsense.
You wish.Interesting. Ten Hag to Liverpool?
It's a good rant tbf. This is the kinda post that made me vote for you as the POTY
So when Garnacho scored our second goal away at Arsenal early in the season and was more on side than the Coventry player was yesterday, and everyone laughed, were we cheating then as well?
The truth of the matter is, we've had it both ways. Yes, Coventry don't because they don't have VAR in the championship, but I'd argue yesterday isn't cheating. They got given a penalty that could have easily gone other way.
You wish.
Fuking Lolz
The decisions city have got in thier favour over the last few years have directly robbed us of trophies.
This season alone i can thibk of at leat 3 incidents when we got ****ed by ref/var and they got decisions that fuked over whoever theyre playing.
too many to fuking times to evenr emember.
Been telling you all its bent af so All you ****s crying now now little Coventry got robbed can stfu tbh.
You make me sick.
If the linesman had of flagged, I think most neutral observers would have called him a blind ****, got over it in about 30 seconds, and watched the penalty shootout. VAR just adds an extra layer of bitterness and disappointment whilst resolving absolutely nothing at all, so far as I can see.
Didn't know the Saudis were looking at Championship teams investment. You must log in or register to see media
Love a Twitter rumour.
In that moment I don't think they would have. Part of the reason why everyone is so fixated over it is because they've said it's an FA Cup semi-final, Cov coming back, and it's a last minute winner. Ppl would've still been up in arms about it but instead it would've been aimed at the officials on the pitch rather than VAR.
Btw I don't disagree about VAR, I'd be quite happy for it to be binned tomorrow, but in this instance VAR did nothing wrong except disappoint ppl of the fairytale ending even though the decision was the right one.

Dont the offside rules change next season with VAR.
LOL, you've had the run of the refs for 30 years, just because you remember the 1 time you didn't get your own way doesn't make every other fan wrong. So when Garnacho scored our second goal away at Arsenal early in the season and was more on side than the Coventry player was yesterday, and everyone laughed, were we cheating then as well?
