As a wise man once said, you can't be a bit offside, much like you can't be a bit pregnant. You either are or you aren't. Personally I couldn't give a fck. We get **** going against us and I don't find the need to moan about it, never have. It's all part and parcel of the game, right? The door swings both ways VAR or no VAR.

If the linesman had of flagged, I think most neutral observers would have called him a blind ****, got over it in about 30 seconds, and watched the penalty shootout. VAR just adds an extra layer of bitterness and disappointment whilst resolving absolutely nothing at all, so far as I can see.

The bolded bit: so we don't have officials in the VAR room?

I would say the officials are those at the ground myself, it's always been the case.

No idea who the VAR people are, do you?

But even if we do call them officials, whatever, to say they cheated says it was deliberate. Is this the accusation? Same as Forest's accusation basically.

Fuking Lolz

The decisions city have got in thier favour over the last few years have directly robbed us of trophies.

This season alone i can thibk of at leat 3 incidents when we got ****ed by ref/var and they got decisions that fuked over whoever theyre playing.
too many to fuking times to evenr emember.

Been telling you all its bent af so All you ****s crying now now little Coventry got robbed can stfu tbh.

You make me sick.

The VAR room has always been run by an official and to say you don't know that is disingenous. Forest even named their VAR offical as Attwell. SKY often name the VAR official as well. Aka video assistant referee.

Do I call it cheating, yes I do, the rules were not applied fairly in my opinion, in both games I've mentioned, and I think most football fans knew how Coventry's fourth goal would roll. Cheats plain and simple and that's why clubs like Manchester United will never do anything to end this VAR nonsense.

VAR would have cost money, so in affect it's paid for now, so in a sense bribery to adjust the rules in favour of certain Prem clubs, especially anyone up against Forest or Coventry.

Where was this outrage when one of the man city's owners referees decided luis Diaz was offside against Tottenham.

Yeah well that's different, everyone knows Man City have barrels of money, more barrels of money than your tears could fill...although it would be a close contest.

So Its not the integrity of football you're raging about its the fact utd have more money than Coventry.

Ha

We got more incidents now than we had before VAR, because it's putting everything under the microscope and football for over a hundred years was never like that, fans accepted it for warts and all - that offside that favoured Man Utd yesterday, should never have been given, the goal should have stood. I've even seen lines showing actually the player was not offside - but regardless which side of that line the Coventry player was in that moment, the benefit of doubt should have been given to the attacking side, and the goal should have stood. If this was in an earlier round not at a Prem ground, it would have stood, why are we using technology that in the main will always favour the elite, because that's exactly why they brought it in!

In short it's fooking cheating.

It's been getting worse and worse .. Webb has managed to make the situation even more ridiculous.
