Everton did it appears breaks spending rules, the loss of sponsorship deals doesn’t seem to have been allowed for(Russian sponsorship)as no clause was in place. Interest on stadium loans also dismissed, but I understood infrastructure was exempt?
because the legal documentation relating to the loan
Use of Funds If the facility is successfully completed, the funds will be used for working capital facility purposes. Hence, in the same way as the Rights and Media Funding Limited facility this additional financing support will be used for operational purposes during the 2020/21 season. We do not intend to use any of the funds for the new stadium project or to buy players in the transfer window. These funds will be used to continue to support the Club and all of the activities that the Club are involved in for the term of the facility.
in simple terms you used creative licence in your accounts again but this time the PL decided enough was enough. The deliberate attempt to mislead was one of the reasons for the harshness of the penalty .

Dya reckon Everton will be charged again with these recent allegations?

They could be all but relegated if theyre hit with a 10+pt reduction

they have been charged and will be found guilty but who knows how much the penalty will be nor when it would come into effect .

I doubt that they will be let off with it like, if the first time around it was a points deduction, it will be again.

Not that I think that's right btw, I think a lot of these financial rules are a piss take.

well you have to assume so but they could decide to have it take effect next season but since they have clearly decided to enforce the rules and stop the blatant accounting fiddles to try and get round the rules they will probably enforce it straight away . Forest should be worried too where as Luton will be dancing in the streets

What’s losing to Birmingham got to do with you not winning a trophy for nearly 70 years?

Remember when all you would say is billions and billions? Means **** all does it <laugh>

Luton are ultimately the big winners here yes, Everton should hold onto to Dyche like, if they are sent down then he's a perfect manager to get them up.

Apparently Everton were told the outcome of their appeal. Should be on the news tomorrow.
