Just seen the latest VAR decision that went for Newcastle yesterday. They’ve got a cheek to slag liVARpool about it.

Yeah it’s nuts that’s not given. Don’t see why refs can’t be interviewed for five minutes after to explain key controversial decisions.

Still buzzing from yesterday. A brilliant and mental game of football.

Off to Bristol and West Brom this week, first time I've been to back to back away games in a few years. Take 4+ from these two and think we'll almost certainly go up.

Feeling pretty optimistic myself ...

He was in the air .. left his leg in ..Good ref decision.... he was also very kind to let Yates off with 8 yellows.

They’re a protected species. They should definitely be made to explain themselves like the managers and players.

It made sense they didn't have to pre VAR tbf as they'd be going into the interview at a huge disadvantage to the interviewer who would have watched an incident multiple times from different angles and speeds etc.

In the VAR era though there's absolutely no reason why they shouldn't come out and justify their decisions though.

The keeper raises his arm and brings him down.

I think it was the right decision but if I was a forest fan I'd want it. The player was trying to 'win' the pen because he was already going down and knew the chance was gone.. otherwise he'd have just stayed up and tapped it in.... he left his leg in while already in the air.

Our current points total (75) would have got us a play-off spot in 4 out of the last 5 seasons ... indeed, it would have equalled Middlesbrough's 4th place finish last season ...

Despite that, this season's Championship race is a cracking contest with Saints and Leeds also in fantastic form and Ipswich just refusing to go away ... like a drunken Sucky at a speed dating event...

Ipswich have only won once in 9 matches mate so are on the verge of going away. They've got a really good run of games coming up though so we'll know by the end of this month whether they'll be around for the distance or not.

They won’t last. Doubt they’ll get 80 points

Yeah that is a pretty soft run. Still doubt they’ll get within ten points of you.

Possibly. They play all bottom half sides until we go there at Easter while we have a tougher run so it's not entirely out of the question that we'll be very close when that game comes round.

They'll have been gutted that we managed to win yesterday though and will be banking on us dropping points this week. Think if we were to beat Bristol and wba then their motivation will drop.
