It was league challenge over for the Gooners today if they lost and they wanted it more in the first half and tactically we were not right. Giving them that goal made it really difficult and overall they were just better.

I was saying on our board before the game that I'd hoped we would play more direct and put balls in behind your full backs, especially Trent, coz he ain't all that defensively. Because we usually try to play too intricately in and around the box and I was worried you'd pick us off if we got caught out.
That tactic worked for us in the first half, the goal we gifted you before HT killed our vibe, but the team showed mental strength to come back into it. We deserved that win today.
