London is full of Liverpool fans, Sucky to confirm.

Listening to TalkShite whilst driving the day Kloppy announced he was going ... they kept taking calls from distraught Liverpool fans ... in the time I was driving there wasn't one northern, never mind scouse, accent ... I kid you not ...

Would have been great if Goldstein, Bent etc had actually asked "... so how did you become a Liverpool supporter"?

Honest answer in 99% of cases would simply be "... because they were the team winning things when I was at school" ... <doh>

He’s a United fan from Essex so maybe best not. Bent is Arsenal and from South London.

That person could have just asked Goldstein the same question.

Reminds me a bit of Jose Mourinho being Bobby Robson's assistant at Barcelona, always thinking one day he was going to get the big job, only trouble was as fate played out he didn't get the chance because a certain person named Johan Cryuff had ideas of his own. [HASHTAG]#KingPep[/HASHTAG]

Looking back now, maybe Cryuff did him a favour, well did them both a favour as life turned out.

I never use to take any notice of the guy, but seeing the lads and twitter bantz about him he has come across all a bit creepy - not sure if that was the intention of the bantz or whether he really is creepy.

Bit of a Pardew type. I’m sure a lot of it is an act and deflects from the players a bit and behind the scenes he’s a decent bloke. Howe isn’t a frontman so they must complement each other well to have made it this far. Howe was **** without him too.

I love the "support your local team" argument. I've no problem with locals supporting their team but it's a blinkered view that it should only be locals. Especially as you go up the leagues, if football wasn't such big business all over the world then you wouldn't have big investment into clubs and how many clubs in the Championship never mind the PL would be doing what they are doing without that investment and the only reason they get that investment is the interest in clubs from all over the world.
Like I said in an earlier post how far do you go? There are smaller clubs closer to most people who would appreciate the fans coming through the gates but let's ignore that and get all high and mighty about supporting local football, I'm sorry but people spouting this nonsense are full of ****.
You support who you support for whatever reason and as long as you're not some fan boy who changes clubs then it's all good.

It's definitely how the bantz likes to portray him. He's always there, front and centre... other teams hate it. It's great. He's a proper **** house, and the Sunderland team photo has elevated him to legend status.

Locally as you know we call you plastic supporters

funny enough most of my mates have other clubs rather than just Cardiff but that was just something they were into when children……a supporter for me is someone who attends games and not someone decked out in a teams colours which you probably haven’t even watched in the flesh

reminds of that *****l taxi driver in aberdare that only wears Liverpool top and shorts the ****s never been to anfield and call’s himself a supporter ffs

There will always be that plastic label if you don't go to games but I think that should apply to the fans who can afford it and have the means to get there but still don't bother, because they really don't want to.
I've been a Liverpool supporter since I was a little kid and have watched them numerous times home and away and once old enough I took my kids to Anfield, my oldest goes as often as possible now and will even go to fan zones abroad if he can't get tickets for finals, my daughter isn't that interested and my youngest is now earning and talking about going more often. I don't see why a whole family should be labelled plastic or laughed at for supporting a global team because they are not from that city (not that you're doing that). If you're in a family that supports a local team then there's that continuation and that's what I think is more important, you stand there with your dad or family member and make those memories.

nah i kind of had enough of city.

I'm Pool this year.

Do it for Klopp

Yeah, Im with you here

Sick of City winning it

Liverpool can have it.

Especially since when Klopp goes, if those lot keep Pep, you might see them going on unbeaten streak again.
