Chelsea looked way better

Spurs didn't seem to react at all to the red card, looked out of ideas.

Spurs lucky to be going in at HT with the score at just 1-1, but no surprise really, people under estimating Chelsea as per usual.

St James' is one of the worst grounds to go for a referee

every single decision is screamed about

Yeah they are pretty bad tbh Saturday made me feel a bit sick that football has come to desperation for the points rather than winning it by merit

Sad really as if football isn’t enough of a turn off for the neutral with var without fans trying to influence and encourage it

I can't recall a game in which 3 different goals have been disallowed for a team in one half before - not that they looked like the wrong decisions. Could easily be 4-1 Chelsea and playing against 9 men.

There's still the chance that the ref levels it up on players and then it's probably advantage Tottenham again, it's hard to rate Chelsea too highly until they overtake Forest in the league again tbh. Some great players, a fine manager but not much of a team so far this season.

Exciting for the neutrals.

Yeah I agree Chelsea's position in the table don't look great, and obviously there for a reason, I just think they are better than that.

btw I take your point about players surrounding the ref, it's a fair point, down to the individual ref to enforce it.

We still pretending sixth is the goal? This year’s title is for the taking. No European football and City not as strong arguably as usual. Salah going to Al-Ahalalalala in January. Arsenal being Arsenal. It’s yours if you carry on going.

Top 6 qualifying for Europa would be a good season for me. I’m not deluded enough to think that 10 games and close to City means a title challenge.

As the first half showed, couple of suspensions and injuries and Spurs are once again relying on the likes of Eric Dier, Hojbjerg and Emerson Royal.

3 Newcastle players got yellow cards for going up to the referee and questioning the decision not to send Havertz off, the ref said only captains should be there. Here's a picture following the goal being given in which no Arsenal players got cards, I'm sure they were just congratulating him.

Here’s a pic featuring all the ****s given…
