Ange and the boys are a beacon of hope in tough times for the Jewish community. It would be nice for the Spurs demise to happen later in the season so that there's actual hope to be quashed.

Yeah a Chelsea win reigns you in a bit and they are still way off the pace.Spurs are 8 points clear of 7th spot so a defeat tonight shouldn’t do too much damage in that quest for top 6

We still pretending sixth is the goal? This year’s title is for the taking. No European football and City not as strong arguably as usual. Salah going to Al-Ahalalalala in January. Arsenal being Arsenal. It’s yours if you carry on going.Spurs are 8 points clear of 7th spot so a defeat tonight shouldn’t do too much damage in that quest for top 6
Yeah that was great. Lawrie Sanchez celebrating in some **** room under the stand in a rain-soaked banker’s coat after calling a linesman a bent nonce for bottling a penalty call.

Was a good Lesta team from memory from that era if not that game. Izzet was a good player ruined by injury, Lennon and Savage were ability-free enforcers kicking the **** out of people and you had hard as **** blokes like Gerry Taggart and Matt Elliott just kicking lumps out of folk too. I think Heskey would’ve moved on by then but he was a good poor man’s Les Ferdinand at the time. Steve Guppy got an England cap around that time too I think, Collymore was there maybe at the time, Ian Walker, Ian Marshall. All decent players for the time.that was before Leicester had world class Yoof. Having to sell Maddison who had been with them since birth to make room for someone with a double barrel name.
I'm a bit tired of Tottenham fans licking their own arses actually so I'll be hoping Chelsea win.
Thanks mate
Nailed on 3 points now to go 9 points clear of the Toon

Edit- just looked it up and they had Akinbiyi and Dean Sturbridge up front with Trevor Benjamin on the bench so not that good at all.
We thought Frank was clapped outWas a **** team ... otherwise your comments were pretty much there on the earliest lads with the distinct exception of Neil Lennon - superb technical footballer - we only got him (from Crewe) because he failed his medical at Liverpool due to some issue with his back - fused vertebrae I think ...
Saw Lennon's debut at Reading - came on as a second half sub and him and Garry Parker had a spell where they just passed and moved to each other - 5 or 6 passes - both of them a joy to watch, Reading players chasing shadows ... added Izzet soon after - cracking midfield - Robbie Savage mainly just a sub behind those guys ...
Second time that a failed Liverpool medical gave us a club legend ... Frank Worthington the first ...

Chelsea for me tonight.
