What has it added to the game for the games benefit really?

You cant celebrate a goal anymore, not until var has done everything in it power to disallow it.

Everything takes longer.

Its exposed the reffing standards in the prem to be ****e, also exposed they cover each others bad decision cos they dont want to embarrass their mates incompetence.

Its just ****, and that fuxk up they did when we played spurs has put them under the spotlight and they are crumbling to even lower standards ffs.
I hate it. It’s killed what football is all about. The emotion and jubilation when you score jumping all over everyone is gone. Now it’s half a celebration expecting VAR to get involved and then a 5 minute wait. The moments gone then.

We don’t have it in the little leagues and it’s far better because all of the above isn’t relevant to us. My club are refusing to win promotion until it’s been removed and I fully support them for that.

I disagree

Before var we thought the refs were ****

After var we know the refs are ****<laugh>

The refs made less mistakes before VAR, the Prem voted in a technology that was always going to be subjective, one persons interpretation of the rules is different to anothers when you start drawing fine lines. We don't even talk about football anymore, we endlessly chat about VAR, it needs sticking in the bin.

Yep. I’ve made that point before. It’s made them lazy and less focused because they know they’ve got that there to do the job for them.

To show how corrupt VAR is, before it came in a sample test of incidents were done from the Premier League, now I can't remember how big a test it was, I'm tempted to say it was a whole season, but I could be wrong. Anyway let's assume it was a whole season, when they looked back on those incidents, there was only one, yes ONE that they felt where the ref got it completely wrong, and VAR would have overturned it. I've never forgotten that and from that I believe VAR was brought in for ONE lol error, all that money, all those extra officials for one mistake. Anyway it was put to the Chairman, and they voted it in, and we need to ask ourselves why, there is more to this picture than the FA and Chairman are truly disclosing, hence the silence on challenges, which to date was one from Liverpool, and even they walked away with only an apology, no compensation, no rematch, so what is going on that they don't want the fans to know. It's bound to be corruption.

I’m honestly not taking the piss here. Have Sunderland ever played a game with VAR involved in it?

We played at Fulham in the cup but I can’t remember if VAR was used or not. That would have been the only time, I think.

Possibly if it was FA Cup but I can’t remember the last time you lot made the 3rd round <laugh>

Yeah, I agree about the corruption. There’s far too many blatant decisions being made. Even the drawing of lines is open to corruption.

This was brought in primarily to eliminate any mistakes which could have huge consequences for a club. Nothing has changed in that regard and as you say it’s actually getting worse.

Stick it in the bin.
