I think he’d be capable of playing in the right system. A team that plays deep and doesn’t try to piss about at the back. He’s painful to watch on the ball and slower than Duggie. For West Ham he’d have probably done well but United wouldn’t subsidise the wages I think. Everton too but he’d probably see that as beneath him. The loyalty Southgate shows to him though when we’ve got promising defenders coming through and Dunk in form is just silly and uses up a lot of credit with fans.
