I can see now why @Treble said on the other thread about the womens world cup...
'When's this end, it's been like 2 month. Get it over with ffs.'
Now you have shown me that Guardian article it all makes sense...
Manchester United have delayed announcing their decision on Mason Greenwood’s future because they are continuing to consult key stakeholders and want their women’s team players who are still at the World Cup to be part of the process.
Three England players, Mary Earps, Ella Toone and Katie Zelem, remain at the World Cup and that is a major factor in the time being taken.

Wut?
Why do members in the womens team have a say in any of this ****?
SInce when was that a thing?
Cant Mase just come out and promise not to molest them?
In all seriousness though, the guy should just go to Saudi Arabia where they are okay with that ****. He would live amongst like minded folk and make a **** ton of cash to boot.

If they are consulting the male players, then it would only be part of the course to also consult the female players, we are talking about a brand rather than a specific gender of team - afterall what ever decision is taken affects the brand - so I can see quite logically why they would want to speak to the female members of that brand.
It had crossed my mind about him phoning Ronaldo.
It makes zero sense. Why put that responsibility on the women? So if he stays they get grief from other women for condoning it bcos that's how it'll be seen. It's amateur hour, they shouldn't be put in that position.

SInce when the **** do players get to decide whats best for the club?
Its the males who will have to share a coach, a pitch and a changing room with him.
The female team wont ever even have to know he exists. They arent going to have to interact with him,
Where did anything say put the responsibility on the women, it's part of the process, they are part of that process. If you take a decision at school over an incident on the sports field, during a boys football game, do you only consult with the male teachers of that school, of course you don't. It's a work place environment, Manchester United Football Club is a work place environment.

If I was investigating and making a decision about an incident of a similar nature in school I wouldn't be getting the views of the kids if they had fck all to do with the incident![]()
So go on then, talk me through how asking the opinion of the players impacts positively or any differently to "the brand" in making the decision. This should be good.
I fancy Utd to get something here.Anyway, enough of this bolloxs, football now.
