**** etickets. Should be more fan noise against the attempt to force this

I'm surprised the health and safety bods are not jumping all over it, I expect it will take another Hillsborough type tragedy before they wake up. It's ok if e-tickets don't work at little ole Gillingham, but when you are are talking about grounds that hold 40,50,60+ attendances, then fate is waiting to knock on deaths door again.

fan noise it’s the me me me culture these days I’m afraid

didn’t hear you back the unvaccinated not being allowed into the stadium when we were discriminated against init……kick it out <laugh>

That never happened though. At least down here it didn't as I was still able to go to games.

I absolutely did make noise about that though. You do this all the time and assume people's positions. I'm fully with you on the covid jab restrictions.

Oops only just realised the Arsenal game has started, turned over, was watching England women (1-1 at mo).

can only say what the rules were for my club and others I noticed…..was no entry for them that couldn’t show vaccination status or a negative test result

Someone should tell them they’re supposed to sing during the game as well. They’re the one club in England who are known for always having dreadful support, even at Highbury you could have heard a pin drop and it’s the same in the new stadium.

don’t agree with that tbh they’ve been a great fan base always giving us a go when Cardiff played them during the ninian park days

At our Newcastle semi in January they literally opened the doors and abandoned the turnstiles and just let people through.

Could have been anyone in that with crowd.

To be fair if you don't announce the e-tickets are not working, it should flow ok, but the problem I expect is people won't hear the beep from the handheld, suss something is up and tell their mates to come down, otherwise it would be sound, every valid person will have a seat number.

yeah not great but that’s most clubs tbf
Not sure about that mate, I still think there’s something to be said for smaller clubs who are mainly supported by the local community. Palace, Forest and even the club I hate, the home support at clubs like that is far better than the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, City etc.

The day they're mandatory is the day I stop going.

Apart from the moral aspect I love having the actual tickets as memorabilia. Got a shoebox full of them.

I reckon you’ve got 3-5 years left max.

Palace was dreadful when I went tbh.

Pretty much every PL ground is poor imo. The exception is newly promoted teams who rock it for a season or two and then fall apart when expectations raise.
