Had the game on record as watched Without Sin with the missus (which is excellent btw) ... so only just finished watching it...

Two words "simply magnificent" ... best performance I've see from a British club in Europe in ages... made Real Madrid's "Galacticos" look like a non-league side coming up against pros in an FA Cup tie ... absolute demolition ...

Hadn't seen an awful lot of Akanji before tonight, but what a talent that lad is ... when you consider what Benzema did to Liverpool at Anfield... that kid made him look like a pub player tonight ...

I used to know a lad that was the main Fundraiser at Luton, all home games he would have to go in the players lounge after the game and try and sell £5 raffle tickets for a few bottles of spirits as prizes, he hated it, as most of the spirits was cheap ****. He did say, all the bad press he got but Ashley Cole was a star, made all his team mates put their hands in their pockets and give over £20, which was **** all to them but most and not all would usually just have a fiver go..he also said Adrian Heath was the biggest ****er he ever met.

Would love to know what things he was betting on.

Never really understood why a footballer can't place bets on games they have no part in or influence over, if he bet £10k that city beat Liverpool 0-2 at Anfield or Arsenal would win 3 away games on the trott how would he be cheating or doing wrong?


EDIT.... when I say "he" I am talking about any player that wasn't part of any of those clubs.

Would love to see Cov go up. We very nearly ended up with SISU rather than Liebherr when we went down to league one. How different things could have been.

They're also the only ground of the four play off teams I've been to so would leave me 14 potential new grounds next year.
