It’s a good point

so difficult for anyone to challenge City over 38 games

I know they have done now - but it’s not about them spending 95m on a player

it’s more then spending 50-60m on every player in the squad - don’t get me wrong they have unearthed some bargains
However the depth of quality I. Their squad is unrivalled
So yeah - been great Arsenal have made a fist of it
And Liverpool for a couple of others

it’s a daunting task
I've told you before Bumps, on here you call him a **** and post a laughing emoji.

Think there are a lot of Liverpool fans that agree with that - obviously in a more positive light
Lots of the fans discuss that all the time

I just trust him
He knows how to build a team
He has built more than one -
So can he do it again
Don’t see why not

your ex - Fergie gave Klopp a glowing CV and I can see why
Those two both preferred to build teams - however I would say fergie possessed a killer cold streak
Klopp doesn’t seem to have that imho he prefers to treat his players like adults (not all but in general) not kids
Fergie did have what you call a cold streak but he never treated players like kids.
He rarely (if ever) let a player decline in the team, once a player started to slip his replacement was brought in at the first transfer window available the only two who never got to that stage were Neville and Cantona who both made the decision for them selves (Cantona on the pitch on the last day of the season and Neville at the half time break in a game).
The only time Fergie broke this pattern was his last season when i firmly believe he wanted to save any money available for the new manager to spend on his own players.
Just as an aside, Fergie leaving was not the sole reason for our decline. What people seem to forget is that at the exact same time 3/4rs of the title winning defence (Evra, Vidic and Ferdinand) also walked out leaving Moyes with an uphill climb to start with.

Fosse/Haslam - Whose team will finish higher? Loser carries an avatar for 1 month and makes £10 donation to winner’s chosen charity
Tel/Luv - Ronnie v Nunez…whoever scores the most wins - all comps. Loser carries avi for 1 month
Munse/Spurlock - Richarlison to score 1 goal in the league fixtures v Pool, Toon, Goonz. Forfeit 6 months avi/username
Dier/Bob - Chelsea/Spurs, whoever finishes highest, loser carries avi for 3 months
G4E/Spurlock - Whoever finishes highest. I lose avi for 1 year or G loses avi for 6 months

goowon Richarlison

Eh? We've been competing at the top for 7 years now while you've been absolute dross and now that you've had one decent season still trailing behind your noisy neighbour by some distance (we've taken them to the wire and beaten them in this time) you've taken a stance that does not relate to your actual status. You've a long way to go with that squad whereas one or two signings and we'll be back competing again. Funny how the tables turn you sound like a Liverpool fan from a decade ago announcing next year is theirs.

Funny thing is I've not mentioned us at all <laugh>

All I've said is your midfield and defence look worse by the season and without Top 4 or a pot to piss in, Klopp knows you're not rebuilding any time soon.

lol @ being back after one or two signings btw.

They're getting Bellingham you know, he will cover the whole midfield, right back, striker and auxiliary right winger when Salahs legs go.

I didn’t say he was the reason for your decline
Sorry if I did imply that as defo didn’t mean that

I was trying to be polite on the kids thing
I am very good friends with a lady worked at Carrington for a long tim. she dates back to busby - lovely lady - and she was always adamant the fergie was the best - she loved him as gaffa and as a man.

however. Even she admitted that by in large his managerial style was that of a bully

that is how I saw him - bully is the wrong word but I not sure how to describe it

I not sure he could have come through today with stories I have been told lol<laugh> the whole brigade would have nailed him

anyway i babbling now
I totally agree he rarely let players decline

I think the best managers I have seen in my lifetime are (in no order)
Fergie Jose Klopp Kenny Ancelotti

Bologna 1-1 Juventus, great result and still leaves the door ajar for Roma again with six games left to play, despite some very scary defending at the end, especially when I thought Medel had put through his own net.

Did that not win?

Edit- no.
The betting app didn't update in time between the goals for him to cash out according to the app so he didn't have the option anyway so he feels better now. Good call though for the Richarlison goal and to get booked for taking his top off. Typical Spurs as well any decent team would be getting the ball out of the net and looking to KO straight away and get a winner.

Fergie got his idea on players from one of your old managers (think it was Shankley), let a players legs go on someone else's pitch not ours.

Hate to break this to you tbh.
