It's clear the Pep effect has made its mark on Kompany. They were comfortably the best side we have played all season. They look better than the bottom 6 or 7 teams in the premier league.
Actually tell a lie I do care about the Forest result, forgot they were playing Brighton, so will hope the Seagulls win that.
They do look good but will have to spend some money as a number of their players are a bit past it now and struggled in the Premier League (Charley Taylor, Brownhill, Roberts and Barnes (leaving anyway).
Last night's game highlighted how competitive the Championship is. Blackburn pressed more but were undone by a moment of class. The Blackburn midfielder, Adam Wharton, looks a real talent. Only 18 but his ability to create space for himself is uncanny. Looks like we are after him.
I know ... but the clubs should consider gestures to reward the loyalty of the fans ... we get a free beer / soft drink and doughnut (away fans get a jaffa cake) at the home game closest to the late Chairman's birthday
