Except that neither of the cases we've spoken about came out like that. Both were about two foot away, one jumping in the air and the other turning his back ffs with the ball smashed full speed at them. In real time both were anything but deliberate or unavoidable. Of course in slowmo and stills at stupid angles they can be made to look anything by some VAR dickhead. Willian on the other hand thought he was Magic Johnson ffs.

There'll be 5 yr olds up and down the country looking at thd antics of Willian and Mitrovic and copying them. You should be ashsmed of yrself. Think of the children Bobby think of the children.

Btw did you see Sabitzer's finish. Ronaldhino-esque no?

nah, i only fastforwarded it to that incident on the youtube highlights just to get a glance to see what the kafuffles about. Sabitzer will be back on the bench in your next game i imagine.

Yup, they shouldn't be pushing the ref or anything i agree (i haven't seen what willian did ref wise). It's disgusting how much stick refs get and i'm surprised anyone wants to be a ref. Saying all that though, they should have bought the book down on fernandes when he touched the linemans a few games back

<laugh> Yeah, just the same.

In fact you can see it's excactly the same energy from that still photo of one person walking past another.
 
Fans will always see it differently with their own players. I saw the Fernandez incident and thought he would be in trouble, the only excuse I can see is that he was just trying to get around him but I don't agree with that, it was a petulant shove and he knew what he was doing. No excuses for Mitrovic it's a red straight up.

He didn't square up the linesman though did he?

And the bit between the linesman grabbing Fernandes' arm and then Fernandes brushing past him afterwards conveniently taken out.

You can make a clip/still look like whatever you want, and then post on twitter, it's not that hard to anyone who can be arsed.

We all saw Mitrovic actually genuinely lose his head and turn aggressive yesterday, live on TV, Fernandes' wasn't "the same".

I do agree though, players should be stopped from any contact whatsoever, and should be stopped from berating referees and linos.

British refs are proper **** so it's no surprise we are seeing more and more trouble between them and players.

No consistent use of VAR is a big problem.

The amount of time they take to come to a wrong decision is also bonkers, they stare at a computer for 5 minutes and come to the wrong conclusion.

Like when ronny kicked **** out of Curtis on the floor the other time we battered them by 5

I know this is late but I've just seen the Europa draw. Man Utd done well again, pulling out a quarter final draw against a team two points from relegation is about as good as it gets.
