Nerves. You can feel it in the crowd. Southampton have come out in the second half and been the better team - we've been poor. Only positive is that we're still ahead but the feel is of a team that's hanging on and the atmosphere reflects that. If Southampton had taken the lead and we'd then scored twice to make it 2-1 it would be a very different game right now. Oh well.

All seater stadiums is what really killed atmospheres. We lifted the roof off in our semi-final. I've always knew the rage about 'screaming geordies' was OTT but I didn't know you were this bad. Its your clubs chance to get to Wembley in the 21st century. It should have been a riot in there tonight. I dont get it.

I need to check to see if agent Wood is able to play against you tomorrow. He wont score but it would be handy if he kneecapped a player or two.
