Can they afford the ground though? Last I heard they were desperately trying to raise cash now the Russian isn't allowed to pay for it.

If their fans actually stopped whinging and just got behind the team and the club as a whole there's a good chance they won't go down. Seems to me they are struggling on the field to to get results, however off the field the owners/board are building them a shiny new stadium. Of course the present owner has wasted many millions, but it was his own money to waste and pretty he's not exstatic about it either.

Not happy with that though are they and if they don't get everything they want they turn against their own.

It's football so maybe just accept being ****e for a while.
 
Didn't Everton sign;

Coady, Tarkowski, McNeil and Maupey in the summer ?

Yet the fans still blame the board & owner.

The thing I laugh at is how they just wouldn't accept Rafa. Lampard has been given a free ride as he hasn't had funds. Rafa was in exactly the same boat. Granted he sold off Digne to raise funds but lets face it, Digne is about as good a defensive LWB as Trent is a defensive RWB for Liverpool.

Now having watched Rafa's turd ball first hand its not exactly free flowing attacking football but he does get results with his methods, as for the actual coaching side the bloke is top drawer at improving players and especially improving them mentally and tactically. I always hoped that if he was given more money then the matches would become more attacking as the quality of the player improved but we'll never know now.

Both clubs playing better sides than I thought they would.
 
This could 6 or 7 if Utd want it enough.

Wouldn't mind Everton getting back into as well...Man U are the scum after all <whistle>
