James Justin injured mate ... likely back for the next game ... Maddison obviously should be there but I'm not too fussed that he's not ... needs to recharge his batteries for the "finishing above the Toon predictably, yet again" forthcoming season ... but good to see that the understudy Trippier is getting a game as a result of his injury ... where is he playing these days now? ... that he's not good enough for a top 10 PL club? <laugh>
Here lies the problem with England, should be picked on capabilities not on who you play for ie Maguire yet the number 1 keeper played for a relegation team all season, hmmm.

See how easy it is to get it right <laugh>

Go to bed Fosse <whistle>

I thought he was offside but if this is right then fair enough...
But the ball was well passed Kane when he was fouled and he was never going to reach it so still no penalty imo
Doesn't matter where the ball is, if there's a foul in the box it's a plenty.

This will trigger a few.
But as maddison wasn’t a product of Leicester Yoof he shouldn’t be in England squad. Better players than him if I’m honest, he has Foden to displace when it comes to major tournaments so will be praying for an injury to have any chance.

Phil Foden playing for the best team in the league ... 28 Prem appearances... 9 goals and 5 assists ...

James Maddison playing in a team that had a disrupted and inconsistent season ... 35 Prem appearances ... 12 goals 8 assists...

Would have made a difference if available to have brought on against Hungary IMHO ... real maverick ... as is Grealish ... Foden and Mount are much more predictable ... <cheers>

i Guess the FA cup win last season boosts Maddison above Foden also.

Don't be silly lad ... but Madders is a genuine baller, a real entertainer ... there aren't that many of those about ... and we are very lucky to have one... <ok>

when you discover and develop a gem at such a young age its amazing.

Still being silly then ... stay off the blue Smarties bud... obviously causing you issues <laugh>
Easy twinkle toes, you are the one trying to use stats to state why Maddision may or may not be a better fit for england over foden.

The question should be, why isnt he performing better for england when getting the chance?

Gonna take a punt on this one mate ..

Might have something to do with the fact that his one cap came as a second half sub in a 7-0 drubbing of Montenegro ... hardly what I'd call ample opportunity to make a case ...
