indeed. I'm pretty certain the Royal Engineers beat us to the FA cup too. And possibly you did last year if it's been rebranded since we last won it in 2006.
Pep will be around d in a season or two if you want a proven chequebook manager. Probably Tuchel too.
Howe has done very well so far, but I'll be surprised if he's still here in 3 years. It's just the way it is.. He'll have a bad run and he'll be gone.
We actually brought in Wesley Fofana and James Justin with the Maguire money ... whether they were strictly down to Brenda or not I can't say... but both are smashing young players ... Soumare came in last summer and is taking time to settle ... but was instrumental in Lille's surprise French title win in 2020/21 ... so I'm expecting (hoping) to see a lot more from him next season ...

look how city treated Hughes. it is what it is. that said, the way Howe has done what hes done, I'd expect you to be pushing united for that seventh place next season even if you bought nobody in the summer.
