Fosse was on about him being worth £120m not so long ago <laugh>

But realistically, with a few years on his contract he'd probably fetch £50m

With one year left though and him making it clear he wants to leave, a bid over £30m should get him.

You might be the the best team in England but to be truly great you always had to become European champions as well. Likewise a club might become the best in Europe but they also have to win the PL title otherwise they were never truly the best the best in England.

City desperately need that Champions League and Liverpool need to show they can win more than one league title in 30 years (approx). Both great teams but we're talking here about being judged as the very best of the best.

Liverpool might still do that this season whereas City definitely have to wait another year.

Final thing, there's been a lot of talk about this being the best Liverpool team ever, but for me they need to win the league again before they can be considered that.

still good money for a player who’s form has dropped off. Sure Lego head will get him back to his best. Seems clear a few want to go play for Arteta and has a good chance of CL football.

I think it will all depend on whether we get Top 4. Apparently we've been talking to his agent and noises are positive, but I think CL football is on his agenda in order to sign for us. We'll see what happens, but I think he'd be a great signing if we can get him.

even EL football will be better than no European football. Think it will be down to seeing if he can stick with Soundbite Rodgers or wants to push himself at a big club.
 
Can someone please explain why a late challenge with the head (clash off heads but clearly one player got there first) Is never given as a foul ?

Always described as a coming together.
