I think you are expecting too much too soon, you are safe this season and that was all that matters.

Indeed it'll be tears before we're competing with this lot, but we needed that win vs leicester to finish the job

Great result that... The last thing we needed was our owners thinking we don't need to get a few billions out.

Good thinking Howe

Just want to offer my humble apologies to Leeds and Burnley fans (and Liverpool ones) ... even though it sounds like Pickford will be given MOTM, that shouldn't disguise that Brenda has short changed not only those other Prem sides but also our own supporters, who pay good money to watch our best team, not Brenda's psycho babble mix'n'match philosophy ... can't wait to hear his latest sound bite attempts to cover up this latest under performance.

Thought your problem was just injuries <whistle>

I knew you'd take a bit of a slapping today, Pep had his bruised pride to repair and the players delivered.

Yeah was expecting 3 to 5 and that's what happened. We had an incredible run of narrow hard fought wins that saved the clubs premier league status, but having watched us play it was clear we were scraping wins. We're now good enough to compete with the bottom half clubs like Everton Leicester and Burnley but miles of the top half clubs.

It's been a successful season for Newcastle and hopefully next season won't be the usual ****e.

Injuries decimated our season, no doubt ... but Brenda has gone over the top in his reaction and the rotation ... 8 changes against you, 8 against Newcastle and 6 against Everton today ... for me, completely unnecessary and disruptive ... Ranieri kept the same starting XI unless someone was injured or suspended ... that was key to 'the team' being better than the component parts ... just my opinion, of course ...

City just blew that theory away ... we remain one of only 2 teams that have beaten Liverpool this season ... and got to a European semi-final beating the likes of Rennes and PSV along the way ... your lot are light years away from that level .. but do dream on ... it's very funny ... more like Galapagos than Galacticos <laugh>

My screenshot couldn't capture low enough to find such a great club

Rodgers is a weird manager.
He undoubtedly did brilliantly to win the fa cup but ( and you won't agree) his team gave away top 4 two years running.
In 2020 you were in 3rd, 10 points or so clear of 5th with just 11 games to go and you blew it on the last day.
In 2021 you were in a similar position and in the last game of the season were winning 2-1 against an awful spurs side with less than 10 minutes to go and ended up losing 4-2.
If Brenda wants the plaudits then he has to take the criticism.

Think he's been awful this season.
And tbh you only got to the ECL semi finals cos you were unsuccessful in the EL and I think that masked over a lot of his mistakes.

The close season will be huge for a few clubs, but particularly you lot as you look likely to lose Tieleman and Vardy will no longer be a consistent first teamer due to age and injuries imho.

Suspect clubs will come in for Madison too and in world cup season that could be tempting for him.

A European semi final <laugh> conference which is the equivalent of the Leyland Daf Cup

Done quite well for a medium Prem sized club this past few years .
Expected more this year though .
